  • Such a beautiful, sacred, temple to visit. My family helped build certain parts of this space. I'm not from the state, but when I visited my family brought me to visit my granny's ashes that are kept here. You feel such a sense of peace & calm when you are here...no one & nothing can bother you or hurt you. Wish I could go all the time.
  • This is a WONDERFUL monastery. Daily public events are morning chanting (6am-7am), evening chanting (6pm-7pm), and the meal offering (10:30am). Most of the communication is conducted in Thai/Lao but ALL are welcome. Whether you're new to or educated in Buddhism, keep in mind that Dhamma & The Buddha's teachings are universal and can be applied to everyone and everything. Go, observe, reflect, and learn! :)
