  • Its nice place to stroll around in Frankenmuth.Lager mill is a very old popular beer shop . it has a long history now on the verge of closing down. FRANKENMUTH, MI – The Lager Mill Beer Store & Brewing Museum in Frankenmuth will close at year’s end. A statement on the Lager Mill’s Facebook page states the Frankenmuth Historical Association’s board of directors “have made a tough decision” to shut down the facility. “When the beer store opened, it was cutting edge in terms of offering a specialized craft beer selection,” reads the statement. “Since that time, many other stores have entered the marketplace including local grocers now offering a wide selection of craft beer in a convenient setting.” The statement also cites “the decline of financial profitability,” the “maintenance burden” the building at 701 Mill St. has become on the historical association, and trouble keeping tenants as some of the reasons behind the decision
  • Beautiful building and the river behind is wonderful. Love to walk in that area. I also love to take pictures there
