  • What a great site for such a great man! Sits on the top of a hill overlooking the city. Really beautiful. The history of the cemetery is very interesting and you can drive thru with no problem...

  • Amazing view of Frankfort, KY. Boone's grave sits on the edge of a high ridge. You can see the Kentucky River make a couple turns from that heighth. In the bend of the river sits Frankfort, KY. Stunningly beautiful. You have a very clear view of the capital building as well. There are nice walkways and signage leading you from cemetery entrance to Boone's grave. Would recommend to anyone. Fun for all ages!!
  • Saw this spot while searching Frankfort on Google maps. We stopped on our way to the capital and glad we did. The way to the grave had alot of amazing headstones and monuments. It was exciting to discuss Daniel.Boone with the kids and wife. The view of the capital from the the grave is a unexpected benefit. If you got time, spend it walking and remembering all the other people in the graveyard.
