We took advantage of a seasonably warm day to enjoy this park. Great views of the city and information about Civil War sites and preservation of the park. They have a great shelter house also.

After all these years, I can't believe I never knew of this park. It was really nice and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was only able to stop for a short time but I will be going back as they have miles of scenic hiking trails.

Wow! The natural beauty is amazing and they have something for everyone. From gift shop, vending and restrooms to trails that will leave most pausing for a rest. There is more here than you can experience in a day.
