  • Really great experience, lots of fun. Huge museum of many minerals and artifacts from the area and the staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they do. The rock field outside is awesome, as you can find your own rocks and test them to see if they can glow in the dark. Great way to spend a day!
  • This museum is awesome. I attended the Mill Site dig, Night Dig on Buckwheat, Swap and Sell and the Mineral sale. It was an incredible, action packed day. I left with full buckets and a flat of choice minerals for my collection. The digs were well organized and loads of fun. Generally speaking, the other customers were helpful and there was a lot of sharing going on. It made for a really great set of hints. The Swap along the road had great vendors and great prices. Likewise the sale in the museum was great as well and I left with specimens that filled several holes in my FrOg collection.
