  • My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the park. It was nearly empty on a Monday and very well maintained. We had a romantic picnic there with all the trimmings. We hope to return soon.

  • This was our favorite park in Fredericksburg. Very clean, few people, trail along the water, lush plants and blooming flowers! Terrific rock formations and lots of places to sit and enjoy the water.

  • Nice quiet park, has plenty of trees, a stream runs through it. There are various walking paths and a paved fitness trail. Benches are strategically placed throughout the wooded area and man made steps help with elevation and rock formation areas. A playground, picnic areas, and onsite restrooms, give all ages some activity and convenience, in which to engage.
  • Great place to stop on a road trip. Not too far off I-95. We stopped when there was an accident backing up traffic on our trip home. So much nature packed into a small park, the stream is nice and cool and easy to wade in, there are trail maps at the trailhead for those that don't know the area, lots of wildlife. Skip the rest stop and let the kids hike here for an hour, we loved it. Plus a nice little playground.
