  • The Masonic Cemetery has its name for the reason that many who are laid to rest at the grounds are known to have been part of the Freemasonry. A unique part of the history of Fredericksburg is that many of it's well known pre, during, and immediately post Revolutionary War era inhabitants had something to do with masonic teachings.
