  • Just a lovely park to visit. HOT during the summer and fall months. Be sure to bring plenty of water and proper sun coverage as shade is scarce here. Backpacking is excellent, stayed at one of the primitive spots and there was nice spacing from other campers and a toilet nearby (no running water though). Lots of trails to explore away from the crowds on the main summit trail. Beautiful desert flora and views.
  • A beautiful place to enjoy some day hiking and awesome views! Unfortunately half of the Loop Trail was closed for some reason but I still enjoyed all of the other trails. The bathrooms are clean. Entering the park is a breeze even during the pandemic and all of the employees are extremely nice. We didn't camp here overnight so I am not sure about that experience but visiting for just the day is great! Also, amazing for stargazing!!!
