Pam and Larry Satek opened Satek Winery in the

summer of 2001. Our original vineyard overlooks

Kreibaum Bay on Lake James in Fremont,

Indiana, and is planted on a secluded portion of

28 acres of land that has been in Pam’s family

since 1915. We grow several varieties of grapes,

and we also acquire grapes from a number of

local growers in our area.

Our tasting room is nestled on a picturesque

16-acre property in Fremont—in the heart of the

region known as the “Land of 101 Lakes”. Here

you’ll also find a second flourishing vineyard, a

production facility where all our wines are made

and bottled, and a charming picnic area adjacent

to the building.

We invite you to visit us at Satek Winery, where

you can sample from our diverse portfolio

of approximately 30 wines. We are open for

complimentary tasting every day, including

Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and for

production room tours on weekends or by

appointment.

For driving directions, a schedule of upcoming

events, and a detailed description of each of our

wines, visit our website, www.satekwinery.com

  • Need to change the wine up a little. Always go to the art show and it’s nice. I used to buy a case of wine but I’ve found better wine with better prices at other wineries.  more »

  • The wines here are fabulous and they are open daily with is amazing because the other wineries in the area are closed 3 /4 days out of the week. The blackberry wine was incredible and I wanted to by a half case so bad but they were all sold out the day I went. I'll definitely be going back to get it though after they finish bottling it. Plus you get to taste 8 wines for free! And their wine is very well priced that it's easy to want to go home with more bottles than you originally planned for!
  • The very best of all the wineries that we visited in this north Indiana wine region. Similar grapes as the others but crafted better.
