If you're visiting the area for the first time, this little gem of a museum is a definite must. We were staying at the West Baden Springs Resort and I was interested in learning more of the area history. I Googled "West Baden history" and this museum popped up. Inexpensive and staffed by a friendly crew, we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the famous waters, glamorous heyday, baseball ties and, especially, the circus that came to town during their off season. There is a wonderful, detailed diorama of circus life from "front of the house" to how the circus travelled, lived, and worked.
