Westcott Bay Shellfish Co., Friday Harbor

So my wife and I are not oyster lovers; in fact we are oyster skeptics at best. But we want to like them, and this place really moved the needle for us. The grilled oysters are *amazing*, and I even enjoyed the fresh oysters, especially the Little Oly. And it’s really cool that you can see where the oysters are grown/harvested from your table. Our server, Bristol, took great care of us. She happily answered our questions about the farm, oysters, and also what it’s like to live/grow up on the island. She was personable and dove all in on our mission to learn to like oysters. The staff all seemed to have fun together and enjoy interacting with customers. This place is cute as heck; the vibes are good, the views wonderful, and the branding on point. *only* downside was the portions were a little small for the price. But the quality was excellent so we weren’t bothered.

they have fresh oysters! I enjoyed the oyster chowder as well. the outdoor seating was awesome since I brought my dogs. loved the atmosphere. dog friendly and good food. couldn't ask for anything better
