If u haven't heard of or been here and from the Quad city area u MIST PLAN A DAY TRIP!!! You will be so thankful u did. It's a tiny village from circa 1800s built in the gully of a NATURAL rock canyon around the whole thing. Nestled next to the mighty Mississippi. What a TREASURE FOR ALL AGES!! If I had any way to donate $, time or whatever they needed I'd be there without hesitation. Even if it is only to do maintain the grounds. Such a beautiful place and costs nothing more than what u can donate ❤️ 💛 ✨️ ♥️ 💕

Wonderful place on the Mississippi, old quarry town setting, volunteers explained everything about the life back then while dressed in the clothes during the era. Live music performance, cookies and hot cocoa at the town hall building today. Cold day to be there but we braved the cold and walked the trail.
