  • The park is historic and interesting. There is a small gague railroad, animal area, old frontier structures, a garden area along with other interesting scenery which can keep you occupied for a day. The campground is nice and is close to the park but, the camp sites are too close to each other. Some sites have only enough room to walk between. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. There is a pool, playground, and hiking/walking trails.
  • I had one of my first dates here around Christmas time when they put a bunch of lights up. I'm not sure if the other things were seasonal as well, but they had an indoor/outdoor petting zoo, a mini-train, and some food and drink vendors as well. While the park is a bit smaller than some parks, there is still enough room to get a nice walk. The falls are quite beautiful. I could definitely see this being a good place to get out and relax or to take senior photos or wedding photos.
