Gagetown is a village in Tuscola County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 388 at the 2010 census. It is located in the northeastern corner of Elmwood Township.Gagetown is northeast of the Saginaw metropolitan area as well as the village of Caro.HistoryGagetown began around a mill founded by Joseph Gage in 1869. The population density was 395.9PD/sqmi. There were 171 housing units at an average density of 174.5/sqmi. The racial makeup of the village was 97.7% White, 1.0% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.1% of the population.There were 150 households of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% were married couples living together, 12.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.7% were non-families. 26.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.06.
