Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention Reviews
My daughter and I took her children there and they absolutely loved it! There is a 4 year age difference in the boys but that did not matter at all. There was so much for both of them to do. They made... more »
This venue is new and amazing. We attended an event for Bulla Cubana. I did not get to see the rest of the exhibits only the artist/inventor that was on display for the event, but when I go back I wil... more »
What a wonderful time I had here! The first thing you notice about the building is how beautiful, modern, and enormous it is. The section about Dr Cade is very entertaining and insightful, even for an adult. At the time of visit, upstairs had a section regarding Cuban ingenuity which was a fascinating topic about innovation in a country with hard times. The themes scattered around the museum such as serendipity and curiosity is adorable and also gave me some inspiration as well. The fabrication lab is a great way to bring a souvenir with you before you leave. The staff (which is extremely friendly and helpful) told me that they rotate the fabrication tools from 3D printing to laser printing and other means which is a exciting way to experience science for all ages. I had a great time here and I understand that this museum is relatively new and is working hard to add more exhibits as well.
My family loved the Cade Museum. We had an excellent time playing and learning all around the facility. My only complaint is that we were charged full price when half the facility was closed for a private event an hour after our arrival. We were notified about it when we arrived but we had traveled nearly two hours to go there and didn't want to disappoint the kids. Still, with the reduced time we enjoyed our visit and hope to return.
