Gainesville Raceway is a quarter-mile dragstrip just outside Gainesville, Florida. It opened in 1969 and is most famous for hosting the NHRA's prestigious Gatornationals event since 1970. Gatornationals 2023 Had an amazing time as alway's. Got to see alot of drag racing, and some of my favorite drivers. Will return next year for some night time racing.

Great local track to take in some racing. Saw the Sick Week 2022 Drag & Drive event. Bleachers were nice. Restrooms tidy. A great show. Only downside was how slow the concessions were. Waited WAY too long even with all windows open.

It seems to be getting better. Went to the radials and slicks only test n tune and the prep was good. I don't get a good launch on 2 of my passes out of 8 and 1 was definitely my fault. Way better than it use to be. Hopefully they will keep trying and the track will be consistently better.
