Nice walk across the bridge from the Galena City office, or we also drove by as we were leaving (down the hill from Grants Home). It has a nice walking area and quiet area for a stroll. Nice place..... more

Very well kept park, nice landscaping. Multiple shelters, benches and historical monuments to see. Pretty overlook onto the railway and historic district. Access to a small foot bridge crossing the river. Large playground area with water fountains and bathroom. Nice area to hike, walk, jog or bring the kids or dog.

This is such a nice park. There are sidewalks that take you through the park and connect to the pedestrian bridge into downtown Galena. There are a number of benches with absolutely views of downtown Galena and the river, a water fountain for people/pets, a gazebo, pergola, fountain, historic cannons, a basketball court and a little recreation area for little kids. I LOVE THIS PARK!
