This is the place to go for quality contemporary art exhibitions in Galveston. I try to stop by whenever I’m on the island. The front desk person is friendly and helpful for info on the exhibits.

This is a wonderful art gallery that always has progressive and contemporary artists on view. It’s in a historic building on a historic street and offers a great change of pace from the tourist trap of the Strand. Stop in if you’re looking for a bit of culture and AC.
