On a Sunday in October good beach weather, lot of people around but not crowded. Relaxing. Showers closed. No restroom available. Gift shop closed. No concessions. No entrance fee. Free parking. Port o pots by the parking lot. No lifeguard. Beach patrol on duty. Some campers are parked in the grass. Walgreens across the street has towels, chairs, water, etc.
Prefer heading straight over here to avoid the parking hassle. Its reasonably priced and a lot less hassle. There is always a fair amount of room and food stands are within walking distance. Wish people would not feed the birds though
