We did the Paddle and Saddle and it was amazing! The horseback riding takes you to the most serene and beautiful views! The 8 mile white raft was perfect....not too scary. It certainly not boring. The guides were great! They know what they are doing and they are just overall really nice! We can't wait to do this again!

Just completed the full-day "Saddle & Paddle" tour yesterday as a solo traveler. It was an all-around excellent experience. Check-in was super quick and super friendly. Although the drive to the ranch for the trail-ride was a bit treacherous - be sure you have a car with high ground clearance! - the ranch itself was lovely. The guides were knowledgeable and views were literally some of the best of my entire life. My only complaint about the trail ride is that we didn't have a chance to trot, let alone gallop. I understand this was because of safety concerns, but they should make this more explicit. The river rafting was also great. The guides were extremely friendly, even when a lot of my boat was complaining about being cold (it was a rainy and windy day). Despite this, the guide did her best to keep the group positive. She also was great about sharing bits of local history and knowledge of local wildlife. My only complaint about the rafting was that they should try to separate groups by physical ability. As a younger gentleman, I was excited to push into rapids and paddle to most of my ability. Unfortunately, though, there were folks over 75 and under 8 on our boat, all of whom expressed their desire NOT to go into rapids (and neither of whom paddled).
