Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area
At Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area, go skiing in winter, try out water rides and mazes in summer, and have a close encounter with animals native to the Great Smokey Mountains. Take the aerial tram or a chairlift at daytime, and hit the area's largest dance floor in the evening. Maybe go ice-skating at the mall. Children can ride carousels, go on slides, solve mazes, crawl through tunnels, and watch the animals play. Restaurants and shops are open year-round. And if you love sweets--don't miss the homemade fudge at the Fudge Shop. We love Ober Gatlinburg! It has changed a lot since the last time we came. They have added a wildlife area to walk through and see super cute animals such as bears and otters. They also have a tubing slide thing that was super fun and you get unlimited rides with the premium wristband. They also have indoor ice skating and ice bumper boats which was probably #1 or #2 on our most favorite list. Also in addition to the alpine slide they now have a mountain coaster. We have three kids ages 16, 9 and 7 and they all have a ton of fun and asked to go again a second day. Definitely recommend for all ages.

Had so much fun at ober Gatlinburg...loved the summer tubing, could have done this all day. We were there before the opening of the new sky tram, but the van ride to the top was fun. The chair lift staff are helpful and fun. Interacting with the guest, making us laugh. Alpine slide was amazing, did it 4 times. Mini golf was fun, the maze was fun until hyper kids started running around in it. Making it hard to enjoy it due to them almost knocking others down. The view from the top of the mountain was awesome. The Season restaurant was delicious, not busy only few tables with guests and we had to ask for refill of tea. Did the merry go round..cute. The mini zoo was nice...some animals needed larger spaces and closer to view. But nice.
