Ferrante Winery is a family-owned and operated winery since 1937. The original winery was established in Cleveland's Collinwood area by Nicholas and Anna Ferrante. In the 1970's, their sons Petter and Anthony built modern winemaking facilities in the family's Harpersfield Township vineyards. And, in the 1980's their families developed a thriving restaurant to showcase wine and food.

Nicholas Ferrante, third-generation Winemaker, boasts his Signature Series wine produced from premium estate grown grapes such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Gew├╝rztraminer, in addition to our very special Ice Wines made from Vidal Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes.

  • My family and I visited this winery during July 2020 and absolutely loved the wine selection and restaurant. I was craving some good wine so I ordered 13 bottles from their website yesterday, and was....  more »
  • Of the seven wineries that we visited in the area, Ferrante was near the top in terms of interesting quality wines. We especially enjoyed their Harvest Spice, Gewurztraminer and Rosato. They also...  more »
  • This place emphasizes quantity and entertainment value over quality. The wines all tasted insipid and watered down. Due to high volume they pour them into plastic thimbles in advance and place them in a refrigerator... which does NOT help their reds! They have a large outdoor patio with regular entertainment, which seems to be a major draw. We saw several tour groups stopping by as well. There is also an Italian restaurant on the premises. The menu looked good so we ordered some appetizers. Although the cooks were much better than the winemakers, the dishes were still uneven in quality.
  • Have been here several times for both lunch and dinner, never a complaint. Food is always very good and they have a nice selection of wines, including being one of the few wineries around that still offers ice wine. A few years back they always offered bread with a nice olive oil-style dipping sauce before your meal but that hasn't happened the past couple of times we've gone. I miss that part of it but the service and atmosphere have always been exceptional.
