  • This is probably one of the most beautiful visitors' centers I have visited. It is right on the lake and has a cafe. The only thing it does not have much of is brochures. Beautiful visit but not...

  • This center is wonderful and a must stop when visiting the lake. Rich area history is woven into wall exhibits, the terrazzo floor and in the ceiling. A great refreshment stop is provided along with some area novelty food and beverages.
  • This is an excellent place to start if you want to get ideas on what to do in the region. Helpful staff will answer your questions and provide suggestions. The huge overhead inspires points of interest. There are plenty of informational brochures and maps. And there are a few museum pieces on display to help you learn about some of the area's history. The facilities are excellent. The bathrooms were clean, with plenty of inside and outdoor seating and an outdoor play area. If you are hungry, there are plenty of food, drink, and snack options in the cafe. You can also buy wine. They also had free masks, COVID-19 self-tests, and hand sanitizer available when you come in the front door. This is a lovely welcome center.
