  • We had a great one-hour tour of Rose Hill Mansion. Our guide, Nancy, was very knowledgeable and interesting. The home is well preserved and has many pieces on display that belonged to one of the families that lived in the mansion. The bonus was seeing the original kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. There are restrooms and other displays about the farm and families in one of the other buildings on the property.
  • For just $10 (it is a steal!) we had an hour long tour of the grounds and property and learned a great deal about the former owners of the mansion and their lives there. Our tour guide was cheerful, super nice and passionate about her work. The property was beautiful, well kept and the clean. We were told that not all furnitures etc. are original (like you would see in the mansions of Newport). The way the rooms were decorated/renovated are not original either but representative of the time period.
