This was our first time at the Smith Opera House. We went to a Gordon Lightfoot concert that we enjoyed. The theater is impressive in itself and the performance was good.

Beautiful old opera house. Seats are a little uncomfortable for a 3+ hour dance recital. But we managed. Geneva NY is such a nice place to walk around. We enjoyed parkers for dinner which is 2 doors down from opera house,good eats and drinks.

A rarity amidst the Central NY cultural desert providing worthwhile entertainment that is a cut away from the typical social offings the region provides. It is my hope that this 1500 seat venue can be used again for appropriate events that are close to its original purpose in addition to shows the public wants to see.
