  • Excellent gold mine tour! The tour guide we had was wonderfully informative, great with our large group of kiddos, and made the experience a fun time. This tour was unique and different from others and focused more on the mining process, history of the mine, and how to identify mineral veins. The kids loved picking out a rock from inside the mine to smash open at the end of the tour. Very friendly and welcoming staff and we even got to speak with the owner for a bit at the end and asked him mining questions. We had a group of 14 total people and the tour lasted an hour. Great price for the quality of the tour!
  • Enjoyed this tour a lot. Rusty, our guide, was very thorough. He answered all of our questions and was honest about things he was unsure about. We liked that this mine is not highly commercialized and it felt like a modern running mine that has been running for over a century. We would encourage everyone to stop in and tour this mine. We will definitely be back with the kids!
