Whispering Woods Riding Stable, Georgetown

Didn't know what to expect trying to book a horseback ride from out of state, but you will not go wrong here! Whispering Woods treated us like friends right when we pulled up. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Great with first timers! If you are looking to get on a horse and go, I highly recommend this place.

We were heading through Kentucky and had just struck out at a couple other horse riding locations. My wife found Whispering Woods by pure chance and it was like winning the horse riding lottery! We called and they had 3 spots left and there were 5 of us, so we figured we would let the kids ride and keep the adults waiting. They offer different ride time lengths and we opted for the 45 minutes. When we arrived, we were lucky to find they had a couple more spots and off we went. Cheyenne was our guide and she was great. She constantly checked on us, told us what to expect on the trail, how to position ourselves and just all around wonderful, especially since my three kids (8, 10, 15) were all first timers. All around, I can't say enough good things about this horse back ride, the trail and our guides. Thank you for making such a memorable stop to the end of our trip!
