  • Not a state park, but very similar. I felt very safe. Lots of old folks in RVs and families with kids. Good hiking and lake activities. Large sturdy covered tables. Large restrooms with hot showers...  more »
  • We went for a hike to the little waterfall at the end. It was hot, and we stupidly didn't bring water. Take water! It's a good fun hike, but a little too long to go without water.  more »
  • The park is secluded but only a few miles from Georgetown and about 45 minutes from Austin. The park is well maintained and the volunteers do a terrific job of keeping the park and the facilities clean. We are visiting here in our RV. The sites have power and water but no sewer hook-up. There is a sewer dump station in the park. Special kudos to Laurie at the entrance station and David, a volunteer, for being exceptionally welcoming! If you visit here you will not be disappointed.
  • Loved this park! Best idea is to reserve a spot online. There is no water access from the park (or so we were told) so you have to drive 15 min around the park. Grills are nice and are is kept clean. Good shades picking area. Will hopefully be coming back soon.
