  • What an experience to be in the same house where Lincoln worked on the final draft of the Gettysburg Address and where he slept the night before delivering this famous speech. It was awesome!  more »
  • Travelers, we really enjoyed visiting this museum. It is loaded with information about Lincoln and the civil war. This is where Lincoln finished writing the Gettysburg address. The entire town of Gettysburg is serene and peaceful and it seems strange to walk through town and places like the Wills house and know what happened in those walls. I wish they could talk. We recommend getting your American history lesson. Enjoy.
  • This is a very informative museum. There are lots of interesting signs to read telling about the Gettysburg Address and the establishment of the Gettysburg National Cemetery. There are two short movies to watch. Also, you can see the bedroom where Lincoln slept the night before the Address. Our group was mostly children, and it wasn't the museum for them. They were done long before the adults. Just too much reading for them.
