My group and I all loved our experience with Gettysburg Heritage Center! Tammy was extremely helpful ahead of our trip helping me plan a very successful day. We went for a guided tour of the battlefield with our wonderful guide John. John made our day! He was courteous, very informative and obviously extremely knowledgeable.
The people who work at Gettysburg Heritage Museum are kind and helpful. They share important thoughtful information with enthusiasm and walk you through things if need be to help you have a very meaningful experience not easily forgotten. The shop is filled with gifts that remind one of what it meant to walk on the battlefields where so many gave so much for causes they so deeply believed in....so we don't ever forget "what they did here".....Deeply grateful for the reminder of the sacrifices made on both sides....and what it costs America when our heart is divided and broken....Each precious life sacrificed meant something we need to remember right now.....Our history should teach us about our future...Thank you for preserving it so we can learn from the horror and heartbreak of being so sadly divided...and look for ways to remain One Nation Under God.....
