Land of Little Horses, Gettysburg

Very nice fun park. Free parking. Reasonable entry fees. Senior discount available. Show schedule spread out over the day. Eatery on property is clean and food Is freshly made to order. Prices very good and portions big. Hot dogs, burgers, pop corn and sandwiches with sodas available. Kids enjoyed feeding the animals. Trainer works very hard training several horses. Nice to see all their horses released to a large open field to graze and relax at the end of the day. Watch out and check your change when buying things as some staff not up to speed on handling cash. This attraction is recommended for young children. They also have pedal carts to use at no charge. Kids loved them. Had a nice day here.

I had the best time here with my family this past weekend. I hadn't been here in 38 years and the improvements the newest owners Bill and Maggie have done have been amazing and they aren't finished yet. :) There are no hidden rooms or back areas of the farm where you can't see behind the scenes. You get to see everything! That means you can see how well the animals are treated here. There are donkeys, emu, camel, peacocks, pigs, big horses and lest us not forget the little horses as well. They really take care of this place and it's so refreshing to see how the staff really cares about these animals. I couldn't have had a better time!!!! Thank you Bill and Maggie and all the staff at LOLH. You helped me re-live a bit of my childhood and I am forever grateful!
