Check out Wendish Museum website before you go. This is one of those out of the way things that if you don't make an effort, you'll never get around to it. Basically, it's a really old (1867) church. If you drive through Giddings and have some spare time, perhaps check it out at least once in your life. This is sort of the extended version of stopping to read a historical marker slightly off the beaten path.
