  • A great hike, mainly in the woods, not too much elevation, so a great hike after you have done the Grinnell Glacier hike the day before. There are 3 lakes in a row (last one is Bullhead); at the...  more »
  • Bullhead lake was stunning, and you could see at least seven waterfalls from this lake. There was also a very large bull moose laying in the water at the edge of the lake while we were there. A...  more »
  • Another beautiful lake just below Mount Grinnell. Getting access to the lake however is a bit harder. As you ascent to Swiftcurrent Pass, you will have the most stunning views of Bullhead Lake from above.
  • This is another stunning lake in the Many Glaciers side of the park. This one is a bit harder to get close to and a good view of, but it is still spectacular. Watch for moose and bear as always. The hike to this lake is about 7.2 miles roudtrip from the Swiftcurrent Pass Trailhead in Many Glacier. You will pass a couple of other lakes and some really stunning falls.
