Be ready for a steep, challenging hike and wild animals, and try to visit between April and October, when you'll enjoy a profusion of flowing plants.   • The Garden Wall is also known as the 7 mile long Alpine Section on the West side Going to the Sun Road. It has stunning views and parking turnouts...some small and others quite large. There are...  more »
  • We did a hike, near the Garden Wall which allowed for beautiful views of the mountains. Of course also drove along the wall, getting to see the Weeping Wall..pretty cool. Although not much water...  more »
  • It may only be .9 miles, but it's about 1500+/- feet up. It was worth the struggle getting up to see the sights. If you're doing Highline or any other trail near this, go for it.
