Lake Josephine is located in Glacier National Park, in the U. S. state of Montana. Swiftcurrent Lake is immediately to the northeast of Lake Josephine and the two lakes are separated by a short (.3 miles (0.48 km)) stream. This is such a beautiful Lake we hiked around the Lake and enjoyed the amazing views at every corner. It was a easy hike and not that far of a distance. Be sure to check out this area you will LOVE.... more

Beautiful lake. You can hike from Many Glacier Hotel or take a boat to this lake for further hike.

This lake was absolutely stunning. The water was incredibly reflective, and although the weather was gloomy, this lake/trail was the highlight of our trip in glacier.
