A perfect place to relax before boarding your plane, the observation deck can be a relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport crowds or the hold a special events. more »

This is a great idea but ridiculous that it doesn’t open until 8 AM. I dropped my daughter off at 6:00 am to catch a flight. As an aviation enthusiast, naturally I headed to the observation deck with my 6 year only to find out it doesn’t open until 8:00. It was a beautiful morning with a gorgeous sunrise but we were blocked from the area.

Very relaxing, very laid back atmosphere. It is scenic as one is able to watch planes take off and land at BWI It is "pre security" so you can either wait meet friends at the airport. I had the crab cake sliders which were very tasty.
