Spooner lake is a wonderful destination for an easy hike in Lake Tahoe. Pretty much a level 2.1 mile walk, it takes in all the fall colors, the bird life on the lake as well as in the bushes and... more »

Spooner Lake is a lovely 2.1 mile hike with quiet views of mud ducks on the lake. Parts of the trail lead you to aspens and pines and first trees. There are picnic tables and plenty of parking. Bring.... more »

Nice and relaxing with a trail that goes all the way around the lake it also has an abundance of different species of trout i recommend using spinners
