Sunlight features 67 named trails covering over 680 acres. In addition to miles of cruising intermediate terrain, Sunlight's East Ridge has one of the steepest runs in the state. Aptly named, The Heathen falls beneath your feet at a breathtaking 52 degrees. Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails in ski country, Ute, a beginner slope that winds more than 2 miles from summit to base. Sunlight also hosts some of the best tree skiing in Colorado with many aspen groves untracked days after snowfall. All trails converge at the base lodge, so friends and family can always keep track of each other.

  • Honestly, if you love to ski and don't want a lot of fluffy frills, Sunlight provides some of the best lift skiing in Colorado. It is really family friendly too. And ticket prices are stupid cheap...

  • We had our wedding here last October and we cannot sing enough praises!! EVERYONE was amazing and helpful and so kind. The venue is an absolute steal for the service, size, and gorgeous space. Huge shout outs to Travis and Desiree for making everything simple, fun, and so so so lovely. Travis held our hands through each step and was super transparent about everything. Desiree was an absolute angel. She made everything look so gorgeous, every guest loved her, and she even made us some personalized ornaments and signs. SERIOUSLY?! So much love for them all! All the food was delicious and the drinks were great. I still have guests praising the steak tacos and margaritas, definitely recommend! Our cups are so full and we cannot wait to come back to relax and shred!
  • Edit: We visited the ski resort again and had a much better experience this time. All the staff in charge of the rentals was extremely helpful in making sure my gear fit correctly. We had a blast going down the mountain. The benches on the lift seem a little outdated though. There is no cross bar for safety, but as long as you just sit back while on the lift, you'll be fine. 3 years ago: This ski resort is great. It has wonderful trails and hills. The young staff isn’t the best though. It was my first time skiing and instead of being excited for me, the kid helping me made me feel stupid for never having been before. Very unprofessional attitude. Other than that, I had a great time.
