Capt Bill & Sons Whale Watch Reviews
My adult son and I participated in a whale watch in September, based on the recommendation of a relative who used to live in Boston. This was probably the most incredible thing I have EVER seen in my ... more »
Excellent ship. Lots of whales and other sea life seen. Everyone on ship was awesome. Very knowledgeable. Even the whales are known by names. more »
This was so much fun and a unforgettable experience. On our tour we saw several whales, Atlantic sea dolphins, a shark and sea lions!!! Its a rocky ride of course and chilly, but if you bring a jacket & some sea sicknesses pills, you will be fine. They guarantee you will see plenty of sightings and they definitely know the hot spots. It was a 3.5 hour round trip. They have a little restaurant on the lower level that serves simple things & it also has some seats and a few booths. Bathrooms of course on the ship and plenty of spots/seats to accommodate. Check the weather ahead, because it gets very very rocky and rough. At one point everyone flew from one side of the boat to the other into each other. I mean you are out pretty far in the ocean so its to be expected when you hit the waves. Personally the youngest one I took was 6 and I held onto her the entire time.I don't think any younger would be safe, but to each their own. They tell you everything you need to know and explain all the sightings. Don't forget your camera and a life jacket for this awesome experience you will never forget!
Awesome Boat! Amazing Crew and Great Captain! We saw so many whales that I lost count. The captain would slow down the boat to a complete stop so you could see the whales up close. One Humpback whale went right below the boat and we got a spectacular view of it. It was a beautiful day and the water was calm, so that definitely helped. We saw Humpback whales, Minke whales and Atlantic white sided dolphins. Would love to go again on this trip. The Marine Biologist on board was really knowledgeable and answered so many questions and shared her knowledge.
