  • Beautiful Trustees property with miles and miles of trails, some carriage-path broad and flat and some more challenging, plus interesting topography and environments. No horses (I love them but my dog loves them TOO much). Small parking lot at the south side, some street parking available. Generally less crowded than the trails at other forests nearby, like Willowdale or Rowley.
  • Beautiful little wood in Gloucester. Conservation area with vernal pools and several marked trails. The woods are about ten degrees cooler due to all the trees. Bring bug spray this summer: lots of rain this spring has brought lots of skeeters! One carried me away for a few minutes, but brought me back quickly - wrong blood type.
