  • Had quite a hike here with a friend who used to live in Gloucester. Loved the old rocks set up as stairs, and winding pathways. Made for a more rigorous hike. We had a picnic lunch of lobster salad rolls sitting on the benches overlooking the Ten Pound Island lighthouse. Relaxing watching the various boats gliding in and out of the harbor. Wishing that people would want to maintain the landscape by throwing their glass out vs smashing it.
  • Stage Fort is a beautiful park right on the water. We usually visit for the Gloucester Blues Festival. it's a very relaxing place to sit under a tree, enjoy the sounds of the water, and watch the boats go by. Both rocky and sandy beach areas to enjoy was well, and a great ice cream stand on site.
