Arch Rock Brewing Company, Gold Beach

#6 of 8 in Breweries & Distilleries in Oregon Coast
Brewery · Hidden Gem · Food & Drink
We are a production style microbrewery on the southern Oregon coast with a 15 barrel brew house and 30 barrel fermenters. We currently offer three solid brands with occasional specialty batches, when we can afford the time in the tanks to do so!

Gold Beach Lager is an unfiltered German style lager aka "zwickelbier" that has won 2 gold medals, North American Brewers Association-NABA 2014, and Great American Beer Festival-GABF 2014.

Pistol River Pale is dry hopped pale ale with loads of hop flavor and aroma, mild bitterness and very drinkable.

State of Jefferson Porter is a smooth porter that has notes of chocolate or mocha and has received a gold medal at NABA 2013.

Cabinet shop owners turned brewery owners Larry and Marjie Brennan, brought this experienced brewer, James Smith, to their quiet little town to make top quality beer in an area that was lacking in local brews.

  • The tasting room is the lobby and it's about 25 sqft (generous estimation). It has a couple stools, and a good view of the brewing tanks. However, the beer here is absolutely sublime. The lager is crisp and delicious, and the Belgian Wit is great on a warm summer day after an hour of driving. I highly recommend getting a pint at the tasting room, and then filling up a growler (or grabbing a crowler) to enjoy on the coast for later in the afternoon/evening. The owners are super friendly and great people too
  • Great pale Ale, very flavorful port. Great detour off the 101.
