  • This tour used to be a lot better. The information provided by actual people is about 10% of what it used to be. Maybe they do this for the millennials so they don't have to interact with anybody. But I miss the actual interaction and being able to ask questions. Having been on the tour several times before I have an expectation. For someone who has has been on a tour of a brewery it may be okay. Although I haven't been there in a long time, I would recommend the New Belgium brewery tour in Fort Collins over this tour. They are the maker of Fat Tire. At least at the you can get some decent beer.
  • Free parking. Free shuttle. 3.25 free beers (super cold sample halfway through and 3 pours in the lounge after). Know that you’re going to wait a long time for the shuttle in tourist months. But if your listen to the whole recording and read the plaques, it’s actually super informative. I love they spurred aluminum can recycling in ‘59 by offering a penny for every container returned! How does one get the tester/sampler job? ;)
  • This tour was fine, I guess. You don't get a tour guide, they just hand you this little audio recorder device with numbers to push at different points along the tour. You don't get to actually see anything being bottled, but you do get to see the cans going into boxes which is cool. It is first come first serve for the shuttle and the wait got quite long very quickly. We arrived about 30 minutes after opening and it was still over an hour wait. They were also extremely rude to me about my wallet which they insisted was a purse....after I had already been told by another employee that it was fine. I had to put my wallet in the car. Later they refused to give me change for $1 so I could do a pressed penny for my daughter. You know where I had 2 quarters? In my wallet. Overall it was free and they give you 3 8oz beers at the end (choose from Banquet, Coors Light or Blue Moon). My husband enjoyed it but my experience really was dampered by how rude the employee was about my wallet. I would not recommend this tour unless you are just really into Coors beer or have nothing better to do for the day and want 3 beers.
  • I tried to come on a Sunday and there was over a two hour wait to catch the bus to go to the factory. I came back on a Tuesday and there wasn’t much of a line. The driver of the bus gave us a brief tour around Golden, which was nice. The tour was nice because it was self guided. There were many different parts of the tour that told you about the history of Coors and how things were made in the factory. At the conclusion of the tour, they provide you with the opportunity to enjoy three beers. It’s nice that the parking, bus ride, tour, beer were all free.
  • We didn't actually go on the tour due to not being able to bring a purse or bag on the tour. We weren't from around there and didn't have a car to leave our stuff in, nor did they have anywhere for you to leave your stuff and come back to it. Will hopefully get to do the actual tour if we come back to the area because I heard the tour was pretty good and free. Just make sure if you go to either only bring stuff that can fit in your pockets or rent a car for that day. We took an uber to save money but ended up going to another area attraction due to this issue.
