  Impressive collection of old buildings, good presentation, well signed, good variety. Got to sit out a rainstorm on the opera house porch, and one of the rockers started moving on its' own.  more »

  If you are a history buff like me you should stop by and visit this wonderful pioneer village. Its a non profit organization & granted there is not a whole lot of historical markers or explanations of the buildings or time periods there are some. We did a self guided tour and it was only $5.00. Totally worth it! There are so many antiques and lots of buildings you can actually enter & explore. It will not take you more than an hour & is kid friendly. It was absolutely awesome to see so many antiques & well preserved buildings & so fun exploring!! Would be a cute venue for a wedding. Looks like they may put on plays as well. Definitely worth a visit on the cheap side for a little historical stroll!
