  • Always a beautiful, peaceful spot. The cemetery was established at the close of the Civil War. The first Union soldier killed in the conflict is buried here. Site of the oldest annually held Memorial Day National Cemetery observance in the nation. Open to the public, but no restrooms or visitors' center.
  • A very well maintained and beautiful resting place for those heroes who gave so much for our country.
