Towering above the Grand Canyon, is the national park's most popular viewpoint. You can get close to the viewpoint via car, but to be rewarded with its famous view, you'll need to hike the paved 0.4 km (0.25 mi) long trail along a ridge. At the end, you'll be able to see the vastness of the Grand Canyon, stretching so far below that even the Colorado River will be out of sight. Although the pathway is paved, it has a noticeable elevation change. Discover how to plan a Grand Canyon National Park trip in just a few steps with Inspirock's itinerary builder.
