  • The line to get into the park was insane. Pack some snacks and have lots of patience. Truly the most beautiful place I've ever visited. One of my top 5 bucket list places to visit. It almost looked fake. You could see the shadows of the clouds rolling through the canyon as they moved and suddenly you realize it's so real. A must visit place! You will be blown away. There are only railings/brick walls in designated areas. Some areas along the edge are a straight drop down while other areas have some rock you can walk out on. If you're coming with little kids I'd recommend the designated safety areas. We saw lots of elk and deer mule which was pretty cool. A very well maintained national park.
  • Can't recommend enough! Get on the red shuttle and spend a day taking in all the best views! The shuttle is fast, easy, and foolproof. I didn't want to do the shuttle, but I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and was very happy we used it. Head down the desert road for pull off points you can do in your car! Be sure to look off the sides of the road for wildlife! It's everywhere!
