  • My family and I stayed at the Cabins at Grand Canyon West right after Christmas and we were very pleased with our stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We knew based on reading reviews that the cabins were sparsely decorated so we brought a folding table and plenty of food in a cooler because restaurant options were limited. We also brought cups/plates/forks etc. because we knew that these would not be included based on the room cabin description, nor did we expect those things unlike some other unhappy guests. The cabin did include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I loved that this was a small property and that you’re able to park right outside of your cabin so no long walks from your car to your cabin. This property works hard to preserve the night sky, so there aren’t any big, bright street lights so come early if you can before it gets dark because otherwise it’s hard to see. Hualapai Point, which was right next to the cabins, was an adorable little village with the check in desk, a restaurant, a little shop, and an arcade shooting range. This was all within walking distance from the cabin. There were also 2 short trails that take you right to the canyon rim for amazing views. The Grand Canyon West shuttle was conveniently located behind the arcade shooting range and made frequent stops to take you to the main terminal, Eagle Point, and Guano Point since you are not able to drive yourself past the main terminal. These shuttles also took you back from these locations. Please read the room description and reviews BEFORE booking and know that you may need a few extra things at this cabin vs a fully furnished cabin. We were very pleased with our stay and plan to come again!
  • Each room has a large porch overlooking the expansive view. Great sunset and sunrise views. The room and bed were very comfortable. There is a restaurant with Native American food and nice places to walk and hike on site. Getting to the Skywalk and Guano Point was super easy.
