Create an itinerary including Mohave Point
Located on Grand Canyon's South Rim, Mohave Point offers beautiful panoramas of terraced cliffs that encircle the Abyss, sandstone plateaus, and meandering Colorado River. One of nine lookout points along the rim, ideal for watching sunset and sunrise, this spot actually consists of several individual overlooks and is never crowded. If you look directly below the point, you'll see a red sandstone mesa with jagged edges resembling alligator's horny scales. The site is accessible from scenic Hermit Road by foot, bicycle, and free shuttle bus. • We can by here during the day by bike. Then rode the orange shuttle back to see sunset and have a picnic dinner here. Incredible!
