Lookout · Hidden Gem · Scenic Walking Area
Take the paved path up to Pipe Creek Vista for dramatic views of the surrounding landscape at an elevation of 2,182 m (7,160 ft). The relatively easy and pleasant ramble along the rim takes about 30 minutes, and the sights from the top are well worth the effort. Unimpeded views of Brahma Temple, O'Neill Butte, and Pipe Creek make for excellent photographs. From there, more active visitors can continue farther along the Rim Trail to the South Kaibab trailhead. Alternatively, just soak it all in before catching the next shuttle bus back to the visitor center. • Just amazing. This place is just breathtaking. So glad that I was able to experience this with my wife and daughters.
  • Beautiful place to go. Small parking area. Beautiful views of the cayon and skyline. Side walk. Also merged on to the main road.
